If you have a wall decal matte finish and not super strong adhesive use a very light coat of polyurethane.
Those are a spray sealer like polyurethane polyacrylic spray dishwasher safe mod podge or an epoxy.
Let the paint totally cure dry before applying a poly clear coat to the top deck.
